Preliminary RM election results in

Results from Wednesday’s Rural Municipalities’ election are slowly coming in.

Unofficial results say Norma Sheldon is the new Reeve of the RM of Prince Albert, beating incumbent Leonard Blocka by nearly 50 votes.

Also in that RM Ted Hradec is Division One councillor, Bob Placsko is Division Three councillor and in Division Five, Eugene Matwishyn won the council seat.

There was also a close race in the RM of Garden River. Incumbent Reeve Bernard Zurkowski defeated Brian Snell by only six votes. All the council seats were decided by acclamation.

In the RM of Torch River Dennis Scott is now Reeve. In Division One, Terry Cunningham was elected, in Division Three is Mike Rudnicki and Division Five went to Dave Smith.
