Premier plans trip to Ottawa
The Premier is hoping to make a last-ditch effort in Ottawa.
He may travel to Parliament Hill Monday in the hopes of convincing the federal government to say no the BHP Billiton's bid for PotashCorp.
Two Saskatchewan ministers have already made the case in Ottawa and it has been said the meetings went well. But Premier Brad Wall said there is no harm in him doing the same.
The province has the support of two at least other Premiers and there is a united front in the legislature. So much so, that there is even the consideration of taking opposition leader Dwain Lingenfelter to Ottawa.
