Local restaurant victim of theft

Humpty’s restaurant in Prince Albert was the victim of a thief.

According to the owner, a man stole between $400 and $600 cash at about 10 p.m. Thursday.

The owner claims the man was scoping out the register and waited until it was unattended before grabbing the cash.

As of 10 a.m. today, police said they were not looking for anyone because they had not yet received a report.

It's the first time the restaurant has ever been stolen from.
