Klassic Kruisers Kar Club – Family Focussed Fun for Car Restorers

The Klassic Kruisers Kar Klub was started January 7, 1988 by Sheldon Novak.

“We had so many guys in town doing up cars and vehicles but not getting together,” he recalls. “I had been in a club before so I got a hold of these guys and we just met in my garage.”

The club originally kept very busy doing a number of charity events for Winter Festival, Children's Haven and The Canadian Cancer Society and participating in several shows through the year.

“It got to the point where we were becoming a service club and that was never our intention,” he said.

“Now, we do one charity – The Prince Albert Cancer Society – because we have lost several members to Cancer.”

They do one show a year with the Northern Lights Casino and The PA Shopper.

Now – the club members meet regularly either at each other's garages or at the PA Inn. They do what they originally intended…help each other to fix up their cool cars.
