Saskatchewan Roughriders looking for confidence going up against Edmonton Eskimos

After two losses at home, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are all but eliminated from claiming first place in the CFL's West Division.

That raises the question: where is the confidence of the Roughriders heading into this Saturday's game against Edmonton?

Defensive back Lance Frazier said the confidence of the guys is not in a bad place.

“I think everyone understands the sense of urgency in getting back to the winning ways and playing good, solid football,” said Frazier.

“There's definitely not a big change in our locker room. There's not a big change in the way we feel about one another, or the confidence we have in one another.”

Quarterback Darian Durant believes the team isn't worried about its confidence one bit.

“We know what we can do,” said Durant. “We know what we're capable of. You want to win every single competition you go into. We're just trying to build some of the right things in the right areas going into the playoffs.”

And playing the Eskimos twice in the next three weeks could be a big motivational booster heading into the playoffs.

With the Eskimos playing a lot better as of late, there's a good chance the Riders could meet them in the Western semi-final Nov. 14.
