NDP calls out Sask Party over child welfare system

The opposition is calling out the Sask Party and expressing concern over the high rate of Indigenous children in the child welfare system.

The planned byelection for the urban councillor's position in the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has been cancelled; the head electoral officer issued a release on July 23 indicating the band had been served legal notice prohibiting them from hosting the planned byelection.
