Although it was the last topic to be added to the docket, the discussion of reconciliation brought out the best of both federal candidates at Wednesday night’s forum.

UPDATE: Regina Leader-Post to be printed in Saskatoon

 As of January, when a Leader-Post newspaper shows up on Regina doorsteps, it will have come all the way from Saskatoon.
 
On Tuesday, Postmedia announced it would be ending the printing of the paper in Regina and moving those operations to Saskatoon.

CUPE Local 3736 gives North Sask Laundry fond farewell

Members of CUPE Local 3736 met Saturday to give the soon-to-be-unemployed workers of North Sask Laundry a final farewell.

More than 40 workers and supporters turned out at the Elks Lodge for a barbeque from 12 p.m.-2:30 p.m..

Nasty smell around Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin not a risk: SaskEnergy

The nasty smell that has been wafting around the Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin area is of no danger to the public, according to SaskEnergy.

A public safety announcement provided by the company said an equipment malfunction has caused the natural gas smell in the area.
