Landmark induction of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation member into PA Bar

The induction ceremony for two lawyers into the Prince Albert Bar was at times emotional on Friday afternoon.

Cara-Faye A. Merasty’s long list of accomplishments was read off by Gordon Kirkby, who runs a local law office.

Former Sask. First Nation accountant gets bail

A man accused of stealing millions from the Whitecap Dakota First Nation has been granted bail.

Hugo Gallegos was granted bail in a Saskatoon courtroom Thursday morning on the condition he surrender his passports, have his fingerprints taken and register his address with police.

UPDATED: Son of missing man charged with murder

The small community of Krydor is in shock after human remains were found Monday morning.

Blaine Lake RCMP and the RCMP Major Crime Unit North could not identify the body without an autopsy but have arrested Arnoldo Rey Jr, the son of the property's owner.
