More than 25 years ago a group of friends who loved music and had a passion for the ecology of the boreal forest, created a music festival in what had been a cattle pasture just north-east of Big River.
Customers are finding more local products stocked on the shelves of Prince Albert’s Safeway. In fact, the entire grocery store became more local when Wes Erlendson purchased it as a franchise model in June of 2016 – making it the first franchised Safeway in western Canada.
“Who is Gus?” You may have seen that question along with a picture of a man peering over the top of a brake disk on the back of a city transit bus. The transit ad for Gus’s Automotive, which ran over the past year, was inspired by customers asking that one question – “Who, is Gus?”
