Former Riders’ coach Jones calls move to NFL ‘bittersweet’

“I loved it.” Those were the words Chris Jones used to characterize his last three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Green Zone’s Jamie Nye caught up with Jones on Wednesday after he resigned from the Roughriders.

Riders’ Chris Jones to coach Cleveland Browns: Report

Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Chris Jones could be on the way to the NFL.

TSN’s Dave Naylor is reporting the vice-president of football operations and head coach is leaving the club for the Cleveland Browns.

Riders secure 3 free agents in busy week before Christmas

The Roughriders free agent wish list got a little shorter this week.

The club wrapped up three pending free agents including receiver Patrick Lavoie, defensive tackle Zack Evans and defensive back Louchiez Purifoy.

Quarterback or not, Roughriders a perfect fit for Lavoie

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have stabilized their receiving corps for the 2019 season, announcing Monday they had signed Canadian receiver Patrick Lavoie to a two-year contract extension.

The seven-year CFL vet will now be with the team through the end of the 2020 season.
