Votes are in for Resort Village of Candle Lake election

The election results are in for Resort Village of Candle Lake and John Quinn is the new mayor beating out electoral candidates Nick Toporowski and Bordon Wasyluk.

Louise Tarasiuk, Maurice Simoneau, Carey Painchaud, and Michelle Lozej have also been elected as councillors for the town. They were voted in over Clem Perras, Guy Prosak, Don Rumberger, Lloyd Caithcart, and Doug Allan.

Voting was held all-day Saturday at the curling rink.
