Crusaders now 2-0, QB Thorpe speechless after win over PA rivals St. Mary

If it wasn’t official before, it is now: the Carlton Crusaders football team is for real.
After snapping a 17 losing streak last week, the Crusaders followed it up with a 14-13 win over cross-town rivals, the St. Mary Marauders Friday at Prime Minister’s Park.

Birch Hills fields a football team for first time in quarter century, impressive effort against PACI

BIRCH HILLS — For in the first time in about 26 years, Birch Hills School fielded a football team Thursday.

The Birch Hills Marauders had a boisterous crowd behind them at their home field and despite an excellent second half, they lost to the PACI Golden Bears 45-32.
