The Spirit of Christmas – Sugar Cookies for the Homeless

La Fille De Madeleine Metis Women have a mandate of helping where they can in the communiyt.

One of their members has had a challenging few months, losing her mother as well as an accident and more. But her daughter, recently lost a tooth and received $7 from the tooth fairy and wanted to use it to buy items for the homeless.

Despite the challenges the family is facing, the mother explained that $7 wasn’t going to help the homeless too much but decided to sell cookies at the La Fille De Madeleine Christmas Sale.

She sold $142 worth of sugar cookies she made herself.

The group was so proud they posted on Facebook and her total went to $166.
