Shack Tent Ribbon Cutting and Camp Kitchen Coffee

The Waskesiu Heritage Museum and Parks Canada will host a Camp Kitchen Coffee event and ribbon-cutting to unveil the replica shack tent display.

Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the opening of Prince Albert National Park by learning about vacation activities in the early days. The public can join in free, old-fashioned fun for the whole family!

Treasure Hunt

The Waskesiu Foundation Inc. hosts a Treasure Hunt on Sat. Aug. 11 from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the projects supported by the Waskesiu Foundations. Participants can pick-up aclue package at the Terrance Gardens, then follow the clues and map. At each station they will find treasure or clues that will lead them to ultimate prize. The adventure takes you to different stops around the park.
