The following are Volunteer Service Opportunities in Prince Albert and area for the week of July 31, 2018

The Volunteer Services Department is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fill the following service positions:

Lab Services Center – Prince Albert

Volunteer greeters assist patients and family members arriving for tests at the center in the South Hill Mall. These volunteers put patients at ease and ensure they are in the proper location to be called for their tests.

Shifts:   7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.,  Monday – Friday: Once per week.

“On Call” Volunteers – All Long Term Care Facilities

Extra volunteers are often needed for the long term care residents on an “on-call” basis, to assist with outings, parties, social gatherings, shopping trips, taking residents to appointments, etc.

Shifts:   As needed

Patient Navigators – Day Surgery – Victoria Hospital

Patient Navigators improve the experience for surgical patients by ensuring they are in the right place at the right time. 

Shifts: 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.; 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.,  Monday – Friday

Meals on Wheels – Home Care Prince Albert, Birch Hills, Kinistino

Adult volunteers are needed to assist with delivering meals to Home Care clients.

Shifts: 11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: once or twice per month
