Jun 11, 2018 | 8:55 AM

As we gear up for another great summer, we’re putting the spotlight on the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey volunteer program at Prince Albert National Park.

Take recreation to the next level and participate in science toward conservation!

Volunteering is a great way of giving back to your national park.

Whether it’s just for a few hours or an entire summer, check out this great opportunity for the 2018 season:

Canadian Lakes Loon Survey

The Canadian Lakes Loon Survey is a national program that tracks Common Loon reproductive success by monitoring chick hatch and survival. Spend a few hours monitoring this icon of Canada’s wilderness and help assess lake-ecosystem health. Data collected from volunteers in Prince Albert National Park is used to help track changes in bird populations.
