Ota Ta Ya Yin is a new counselling service for First Nations/Metis Seniors.
Ota Ta Ya Yin is a Cree expression for “This is the place I would like to be” or “In the Centre of things” of “This is where I like to hang out”. The OTA TA YA YIN concept is the place where Seniors would like to come to be heard.
Ota Ta Ya Yin is an internal program of The Prince Albert Seniors Advocacy Centre dedicated just for First Nations/Metis Elders (seniors).
If any First Nations/Metis seniors needs advocacy or navigation counselling, call our dedicated Case Worker, Marleen Lavoie, at 306-981-6484. Counselling sessions are set by appointment.
This special service is financed by the Community Initiatives Fund.
