You’re sick and tired of looking tired.  You see dark, puffy circles staring back at you in the mirror.  What can be done?

First of all, I want you to cut yourself some slack.  Every single person on the planet eventually winds up with some degree of bag under the eye.  Some of us have tiny little carry-ons that are so small, you could stick them in the seat pocket in front of you.  Some of us have bags that are so big, you can feel the flight attendants staring at the back of your head while you try your damndest to cram them into the overhead compartments.

When you look at your thighs, you see ripples. Why?

You work out hard. Maybe you work out hard at the gym. Maybe you walk on the treadmill every single day. Maybe you’re a runner. And, you watch what you eat. Overall, you’re in pretty decent shape and you’re pretty happy with your weight. So what gives?

Cellulite is not pockets of stubborn fat. Neither is it pockets of toxin-filled fluid. People can be slim, fit, and active, all while they eat clean, and yet they’ll still have cellulite. So neither of these common explanations makes sense.

Good News for Mummy Tummies

One of my great passions is helping people feel better about their looks. This includes what one of my Client’s affectionately referred to as her Mummy Tummy.

I absolutely love working on stretched out tummies. Tummies that have lost a lot of weight or tummies stretched out by beautiful babies; I love them both.

I love watching the skin smooth out and tighten up over a course of treatments.

I love watching the belly button lift again.

Kate Moss Beauty Secret – Dope or Nope?

Kate Moss has her birthday sometime this week. She’s in her early forties and she looks great.  hat’s her secret?

I know one.

She puts cold water in a bowl big enough to fit her face in. She adds lots of fresh slices of cucumber and some ice. 

Then she submerges her face for a few seconds, as long as is comfortable. She does this repeatedly.

Winter is rough on our skin. We look older because we get less vitamin D. Our vitamin D levels go down as we bundle up and bunch up, scurrying from building to car.

We look older because cold air yanks more moisture out of our exposed skin than warm air does.

We look older because our moods are down – it’s that vitamin D thing again. I think we probably all suffer a bit from Seasonal Affective Disorder in this part of the world at this time of year.
