Best Physiotherapy Clinic: Hillside Physical Health and Fitness

Oct 25, 2016 | 2:21 PM

The road to recovery following an accident can be a difficult one, but with physiotherapy from Hillside Physical Health and Fitness you’ll be back in fine form.

For the past 30 years, Hillside staff have treated, educated and empowered their clients to continue with an active and healthy lifestyle.

Co-owner Keith Zawislak says the key to their clients’ success is how invested they become with their Physiotherapist.  “The personal relationships between us and those we work with are absolutely critical,” he says. “It’s incredibly satisfying and rewarding to help someone recover from an injury and get back on their feet. We really care about our patients and it shows in the results.”

When you first come to Hillside they conduct a full assessment of what’s causing your pain, which means they can accurately and quickly build a regimen for you. You’re guaranteed to get the right treatment the first time which relieves your pain,  corrects your physical restrictions and minimizes time away form work or your daily activities.

They don’t only offer physiotherapy to help you recover after an injury. They also provide acupuncture, dry needling and brace fitting.

Hillside also has a fully equipped gym and dynamic training programs for both individual and group sessions, as well as assistance plotting your journey towards peak fitness.

Their training is so thorough elite sports teams come to Hillside to improve their game. Exercise therapists train hockey teams such as the Prince Albert Midget AAA Northern Bears and Bantam AA Pirates.

All of their exercise therapists are university trained and active gym goers themselves, so you can be confident you’re getting the best possible training from the people who know it best.

Trainer Christina Vis herself won a BoB award for Best Fitness Trainer

“We’ve really expanded through the community and it’s always a pleasure to hear people refer us to others,” co-owner Scott Ward says. “With personal training it’s all about trust so it means we’re on the right path when clients trust us enough to tell their friends about us.”

Sports safety and concussion management is also a great passion for the Hillside team. They are certified providers of the Shift Concussion Management program and are involved in the Parachute charity, which is dedicated to preventing injuries while playing sports. They also donate their time to attend local minor sporting events to take care of the young athletes and provide baseline concussion testing and education.
