“Even on holidays, Christmas and New Years, doesn’t matter, we are open,” said Basaria.

At Georgie’s, they bring in special inventory that is not available anywhere else in the city.  Some popular special products they order in that are tough to find anywhere else include Screw-Ups, flavoured Rock Stars, 1 Litre Palm Bays and eight packs of beer.

“In this province the eight pack has not been introduced so we make our own eight packs here in the store,” said Basaria. “It is the same price you would buy a six pack for at the local liquor board store and it’s cold and convenient.”

“As people ask for it, we will order it,” he added. “If they promise that if we can get it in that they will buy it from us then we will special order it for them.”

Georgie’s is conveniently located downtown at 906 1st Ave. W and is attached to the National Hotel. They sell a variety of extra products including chips and other snacks, pop, beef jerky, cigarettes, E- cigs and E-juice which help to provide that little bit of extra convenience to their customers.
