‘Voice of business’: Chamber strong 130 years on

In 1867, the Dominion of Canada was signed and a mere 20 years later, the Prince Albert and Distrcit Chamber of Commerce was formed.

Since, it has been the voice of business in Prince Albert and Friday, hosted a recognition event for its members.

Firefighters are known to frequent high places, but they were doing so for a much different reason Friday night.

With the closing of Adam’s Celebration by Design, the new owners of 1120 Central Ave. have plans to maintain its historic integrity and convert the space into an art gallery.

Oldest Central Ave. building to see artistic future

Since 1909, 1120 Central Ave. has played host to a number of businesses. Current owners promise with the shuttering of Adam’s Celebration by Design, the building's historic roots will not be lost.

Two Miles for Mary is an annual fundraiser for Seniors' Transportation service that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It operates through the Community Service Centre and ran over 6,000 trips in 2016.
