On a day off between road games in Swift Current and Brandon, the Prince Albert Raiders pulled off the TransCanada Highway at White City and made the trip 70 kilometres southeast to Montmarte, a community that, like the Raiders, had lost one of its own this year.

The Prince Albert Raiders had their franchise-record win streak snapped Tuesday night in the unlikeliest place, falling 3-2 to in a shootout to the Swift Current Broncos.

For the second straight game, the Prince Albert Raiders broke a franchise record set in the 1985-86 season as the team won their seventh straight road game with a 4-3 victory over the Red Deer Rebels.

Ian Scott picked up an assist on Brett Leason's shorthanded marker, banking a puck off the boards and onto the forward's tape for a breakaway. Scott now has two points in his last four games.

Raiders match franchise record with 15th straight win

For the first time since the 1985-86 season, the Prince Albert Raiders have won 15 straight games after a 7-3 victory in Medicine Hat Friday night.

On Tuesday night, Prince Albert Raider forward Sean Montgomery will join Brett Novak, Shane Zulyniak, and Brandon Herrod as the only players to ever play 300 Western Hockey League games with the club.
