Stanley to appear in provincial court today on firearms storage charges

Gerald Stanley will be in North Battleford's provincial court Monday afternoon facing firearms storage charges from Aug. 9, 2016, the day Colten Boushie was fatally shot in Stanley's Biggar-area farmyard.

FSIN upset no appeal filed after Stanley verdict

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) says it continues to stand with the Colten Boushie family after learning there would be no appeal filed on Gerald Stanley's acquittal.

Athletes make the grade in relay races at Games

It was another good day for those competing in cross-country skiing in the Saskatchewan Winter Games Saturday.

More than 60 youth and a few Para-Nordic athletes participated in the races at Blue Mountain, near North Battleford.

Day of highs and lows for young gymnasts at games

It was a day of emotional highs and lows for young athletes vying in the final round of artistic gymnastics competitions on Wednesday.

Parents filled the stands cheering on their kids taking part in the events as part of the Saskatchewan Winter Games in North Battleford.

When they aren't buckling down perfecting their routines, gymnasts from across the province taking part in the Saskatchewan Winter Games in North Battleford have been enjoying the atmosphere of the games.
