Two teens arrested in PA stabbing

The Prince Albert Police Service has arrested and charged two teenagers in relation to a robbery and stabbing that occurred June 2.

At 9:40 p.m. in the 100 block of 13th Street West, a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the back after an attempted robbery. Sgt. Kelly McLean with the Prince Albert Police Service said one group of people wanted to take a bicycle from the 24 year old who was with another group and the two groups clashed.

A 16-year-old Prince Albert man and a 17-year-old Sturgeon Lake man are facing a number of charges, including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

They have both been released on undertakings and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
