UPDATE: Missing Ahtahkakoop woman found safe

UPDATE:Shellbrook RCMP informed the media 8:15 a.m.Tuesday that the missing woman, Hailey Elizabeth Sasakamoose, had been located safe and sound.

A 21-year-old woman from Ahtahkakoop First Nation has been reported as missing.

RCMP said Hailey Elizabeth Sasakamoose was reported missing on Jan.18 at around 10 p.m., after leaving her parent’s residence on Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

She told her parents she was going to Saskatoon with friends but instead she got a ride to La Ronge. Her whereabouts were unknown as of Monday evening.

Sasakamoose is described as 5’5” tall, 130 lbs., medium build, long black hair, black rimmed glasses, wearing a ¾ length black winter jacket, blue jeans, black DKNY runners with white bottoms and carrying a black Champion bag.

No image of her was immediately supplied to media by RCMP.
