There will be no Prince Albert team in the final of the Kelly Smith Memorial Tournament.

The Carlton Crusaders fell to Saskatoon Holy Cross by a score of 56-48 in overtime in the tournament semi-final at École St. Mary Saturday afternoon.

The game was tied 47-47 in the final seconds and Holy Cross had the last possession with the opportunity to score the winning points but were unable to convert .

In the overtime frame the Saskatoon team pulled out in front. Holy Cross was able to get inside and create offense, while getting turnovers on the defensive end to disrupt the Carlton offence.

In the extra period the Crusaders struggled to make things happen on the offensive end. The team was able to earn some trips to the free throw line, but they couldn't produce the points.

The tournament final is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight. Holy Cross were set to play the winner of the second semi-final between Melfort and North Battleford Comprehensive High School.
