Man dies in weekend incident

A man has died following a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on the Big River First Nation.

RCMP and Big River EMS were called to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian around 10:45 p.m. Sunday. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

Police say the vehicle involved in the incident left the area. An RCMP forensic collision analyst was called to review the scene.

RCMP say more details will be provided as they become available.
