White Christmas predicted after snowy November

Dec 7, 2018 | 1:00 PM

Snowshovels have been Prince Albert residents’ best friends lately.

The snowflakes fell fast and furious this past November. The total precipitation amount for the three-month average is still fairly normal though.

Prince Albert Wildfire Management Meteorologist, Henri Dagenais said Prince Albert has around 28.6 cm of snow on the ground, which is a normal amount of precipitation for this year, he said.

“The average is usually around 28.8 cm. The difference though is that most of that snow fell in November. September and October (precipitation) was well below average,” he said.
