Preventing porch pilfering this holiday season

Dec 6, 2018 | 4:00 PM

More than ever people are doing their holiday shopping online, which means there is a much higher reliance on delivery services.

During a time of increased numbers of deliveries, customers should be wary of their unattended parcels sitting on their front doorstep.

Bill Chow, the co-owner of Prince Albert’s UPS store said there are a few actions people can take to ensure they receive their packages.

“Well I think first off you never want a parcel delivered when you’re not home and whichever company you are using to deliver those parcels, you have the option to ensure there is a signature upon the receipt of those parcels,” said Chow.
