The annual Christmas at City Hall event hosted by the Prince Albert Multicultural Council is underway once again.

The event features kids from local schools and daycares who come down to City Hall to perform holiday classics. The caroling will take place every day this week in the lobby at City Hall.

Michelle Hassler, acting Executive Director with the Multicultural Council said they love to hear the kids perform, saying it helps kick off the holiday season.

"We invite school and daycare choirs to come and sing Christmas carols," Hassler said. "We always love to start December with decorations and Christmas carols. We like to bring in the Christmas spirit."

Along with student performances, the Council also works with the Learners with Purpose program during the week to provide food for those in attendance.

Hassler said all the money raised from food sales goes toward their program.

“It would be really awesome to also start the spirit of Christmas by helping support one of our local groups,” she said.

Performances start at Noon each day and run until 1 p.m.
