Driver charged after driving onto front lawn

A woman was arrested and charged with impaired driving after allegedly driving onto the front lawn of a private residence on the 1200 Block of 12 Street West.

The incident happened Sunday night.

The vehicle crashed into several trees and the 28-year-old woman was located behind the wheel.

The suspect was brought back to the police station where breathalyzer tests were conducted, which the suspect subsequently failed.

She was expected to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court Tuesday.
