Police seize shotgun, ammunition after pulling vehicle over

Police have one man in custody facing firearms charges after a traffic stop yesterday evening.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit stopped the suspicious vehicle around 6:55 p.m. on the 1400 Block of 10th Ave. E.

In the vehicle, officers located a sawed off shotgun and 15 rounds of ammunition.

The 29-year-old is charged with 11 firearm-related charges and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
