The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 266 calls for service over the weekend, making 67 arrests.

On Sept. 30 around 11:20 a.m., officers attended a break and enter complaints on the 2900 block of Fourth Avenue East. Police saw two women fighting when they arrived.

Police say one woman had a dispute with the other woman before she unlawfully entered her home to assault her. The suspicious female was arrested.

The 47-year-old was charged with assault and is due to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

In a second unrelated call two days earlier, officers attended a vehicle break and enter call on the 100 block of 12 Street East. Police say a suspect broke into the parked vehicle by smashing a window to steal a purse inside.

After obtaining video surveillance footage, police identified the 26-year-old Prince Albert man.

Ivan Ballantyne is wanted by police for theft under $5,000 and willful damage under $5,000. If you know of his whereabouts you are urged to contact the Prince Albert Police. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers.
