Mintos suffer first defeat of the season to S.C.

The Prince Albert Mintos suffered their first loss of the year, a 2-1 defeat at the Art Hauser Centre to the Swift Current Legionnaires.
The Legionnaires scored both of their goals in the first period from Boston Bird and Jaxon Mertens. That scored remained until two minutes into the third period when Prince Albert’s Ethan Ironside scored on the power play.
The Mintos are 1-1 to start off the year after their 6-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Generals in honour of Jacob Leicht.
