Winners announced for city’s Golden Spade Awards

The Golden Spade Awards contest with the City of Prince Albert has closed with the 2018 winners announced.

Vivian and Dan Stevely along with Joanne Starchuk won the top spots.

The program is one that promotes the most beautifully landscaped front yards in the city and celebrates those with the greenest of thumbs.

The winners will receive a letter from the city’s mayor Greg Dionne and a small token of appreciation. The nominees are also considered for one of three prizes, valued at $100.

The contest closed on Aug. 15.
