Sep 11, 2018 | 2:05 PM

RCMP have wrapped up their investigation into a two-vehicle crash earlier that killed six people near Rosetown, including three young children.

The crash happened June 29 outside of Elrose. Carissa Gasper and her husband Troy, and their three children were killed in the crash, along with a 71-year-old woman from Swift Current. According to an RCMP media release, investigators were unable to determine the exact cause of the two-vehicle collision, but confirmed Tuesday that the 71-year-old woman, and lone occupant, driving the northbound SUV had crossed over the dividing line into oncoming traffic. RCMP investigators said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Now that the investigation is complete, police say no further updates on the crash will be made available. RCMP were assisted in the investigation by the traffic reconstruction unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
