A media release from the city police service said members were first called out to an assault on a man around 2:17 a.m. at a business in the 200 Block of 15th St. W. The suspect fled before police arrived. Within 20 minutes, police were dispatched to a business in the 1300 Block of Second St. W., where a man struck an unconscious man in the head and fled before police arrived. The victim was taken to hospital.
