Meadow Lake RCMP seek assistance in locating missing teenager

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking for help in locating a 14-year-old Indigenous female last seen at the Flying Dust First Nation Powwow.

Shaylene Roy is described as five-foot-six, weighing 115 pounds. She has medium-long black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen Sept. 2 at 1 a.m., wearing a black hoodie and black Adidas pants.   

Police believe she may be in the Big River or Meadow Lake area, however, this has not been confirmed, according to a press release.

Anyone with information on Roy’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
