Aug 16, 2018 | 4:09 PM

The six people charged in connection to a major weapons and drugs bust in Prince Albert this week, have been remanded back into custody.

Damien Ross, Jody Ross, Gerald Sinclair, Trudy Richards, Chantelle Mike and Waylon St. Denis made a brief court appearance Thursday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court, and were ordered remanded until their next court date Aug. 24.

Tuesday morning, the Integrated Street Enforcement Team raided two homes in the 400 blocks of 11th St. E. and 13th St. E., seizing numerous firearms, drugs, ammunition, cash, and body armour.

Police have said the search warrants were the result of a focus on weapons and drugs offences in the city. Since the beginning of August, police have laid a total of 127 charges and seized 10 firearms.
