The U19 Astros are off to a perfect start at nationals, winning both their games Tuesday.

They beat the Shellbrook Rangers 3-2 in their morning game and then blasted B.C. 11-4 in the afternoon contest.

Landon Couture hit two home runs for the Astros against B.C. and Braiden Turner added another. Rookie Pitcher Troy Preymack picked up the win. The Astros are back in action later this morning against Shallow Lake Ontario.

Meanwhile, the Shellbrook Rangers are 0 and 2 so far. After losing to the Astros in the morning game, they fell 11-1 to the Napanee hosts in their afternoon game. The Rangers are on the field this morning against the Belmore Sting.
