Prince Albert’s Trevor Fendelet swung his way to the bronze medal at the 2018 Special Olympics Canadian Summer Games golf event.

He took third place in the Division 5 category on the Antigonish Country Club layout in Nova Scotia Friday.

The four-day competition involved nine holes of play per day.

Fendelet, who works at the Superstore in Prince Albert, has been playing the game since being introduced to the driving range by his family in the 1990s.
