Aug 4, 2018 | 8:00 AM

Want to know what’s open or closed over the Civic holiday? Here’s a quick overview of what’s happening over the long weekend.

Prince Albert City Hall will be closed Monday, Aug. 6 for the holiday. No transit services will be available on Sunday or Monday.

Parking will be free at all city meters on Sunday and Monday. The city’s impound lot will be closed Monday.

The Alfred Jenkins Fieldhouse will be closed Monday.

The John M Cuelenaere Public Library is closed for the holiday.

The Prince Albert Arts Centre is closed.

There are some events happening in Prince Albert over the long weekend. The Kinsmen Water Park will be open regular hours over the long weekend, including Monday. All playground programs will be closed on Monday, and only the Ella Muzzy paddling pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Spray parks will be open in Prince Albert, except the Midtown and Westview locations.

The Historical Museum will be open each day over the weekend and the historic downtown walking tours will go ahead as scheduled on Sunday, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority advises anyone with non-urgent health concerns to contact their doctors or visit on of the city’s walk-in clinics. The SHA says anyone with questions can also contact the HealthLine at 811, or online.
