Several varieties of Goldfish and Ritz-brand crackers are currently under a recall in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued the recalls due to possible salmonella contamination.

Christie brand Ritz Bits sandwiches including cheese and pizza flavours are under a recall. The full list is available on the CFIA website.

The recall affects four varieties of the popular Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers as well as the pretzel cracker mix.

Food contaminated with salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make people sick. Young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems are at risk of serious infections from salmonella. Short-term symptoms include: fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. People who think they have become sick from eating a recalled product should see a doctor.
