Montreal QB Drew Willy leaves game against Calgary with apparent injury
CALGARY — Montreal Alouettes quarterback Drew Willy left Saturday’s game against the Calgary Stampeders with an apparent hand injury.
Willy, who completed a four-yard pass to Ernest Johnson on his final snap, was seen shaking his right hand at one point in the game before eventually heading to the Montreal locker-room early in the second quarter. He didn’t return for the second half.
Willy was 3 for 4 for 17 yards when back-up QB Matt Shiltz replaced him at 11:36 of the second.
This is the second time this season Willy has left a game with an injury.
