Three young offenders escaped the Prince Albert Youth Residence Thursday night shortly after 9 p.m. where they were held in custody.

A court order was obtained late Friday, according to the government, to allow the release of their names, photos and other identifying information.

Ben Romeo Bird, 17, is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 172 pounds with brown eyes and black hear. He has a scar on his right hand. Bird has been remanded on serious indictable charges since May 31.

Samuel Jay Kiseyinewakup, 17, is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 153 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has been remanded on serious charges since April 26.

Blade Cornelius Roberts, 17, is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Roberts has a scar on his left wrist, right lower arm and right upper thigh. He also has a crown tattoo on the right side of his neck and the word “KINGS” in the middle of his chest. He was remanded on serious indictable charges since May 30.

All three are considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Details of the offenders were originally limited under law, but the Ministry of Corrections and Policing said custody services were preparing a court application which would allow them to release the names and photographs of the escapees.

Anyone with information on the escape was asked to contact police or RCMP.
