Sports briefs: Outlaws’ streak ends; Dragons lose their opener

The Prince Albert Outlaws’ undefeated start to the season came to an abrupt end on Thursday.

They fell 12-1 to the Saskatoon Brewers, falling to 3-1 on their Prairie Gold Lacrosse League start in the senior division.

The Outlaws’ lone goal came off the stick of Taylor Wilcox.

The Saskatchewan Rivers Dragons lost their first game of the year against the Springboks 38-7 in Saskatoon on Thursday. The Springboks won last year’s North Sask Junior Rugby championship.
