Murder charge laid in Easter Sunday death in Saskatoon

The death of a 54-year-old man in downtown Saskatoon on Easter Sunday is now a homicide, the city’s third of the year.
Saskatoon police announced late Monday night that a 30-year-old woman has been charged with second degree murder in connection to the death.
Police were called around 11:30 p.m. on April 1 about an injured man in an apartment on the 200 block of 5th Avenue North.
When officers arrived, they found him dead.
