Mar 29, 2018 | 2:39 PM

A duffle bag containing a sawed-off shotgun was found by police Wednesday night.

According to the Prince Albert Police Service, they received a call of a suspicious person in the area of 20th St. E. at approximately 9 p.m. Officers attended to the area but were unable to locate anyone. While checking the area, officers observed fresh footprints in the snow which lead to a parked vehicle. Upon further investigation, officers located the duffle bag with the modified weapon inside.

Police confirmed the shotgun wasn’t reported stolen and asked anyone with information about the bag or its contents to call Prince Albert Police or Crime Stoppers.
