Mar 7, 2018 | 4:00 PM

Police say a 32-year-old man from Sturgeon Lake First Nation will be in court next month, facing charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm and dangerous driving.

The man allegedly crashed into another vehicle on Highway 355 west of the city at around 8 p.m. Feb. 21. RCMP did not release the suspected perpetrator’s name, as the charges had yet to be sworn in court.

Two people were taken to hospital after the crash, including the allegedly-impaired driver and an occupant of the second vehicle. Traffic at the scene was held up for almost two hours, according to police.
