Human remains have been discovered inside the home of a missing Prince Albert woman, police said.

Brandy Busch, 39, was reported missing Feb. 18, and on Monday police asked residents of the area where she lived to check their properties for any signs of the missing woman. This morning Prince Albert Police confirmed investigators located human remains inside her residence, in the 700-Block of 10th St. N.W., and are now working with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office to identify the deceased.

“There is no threat to public safety,” Police Spokesperson Alanna Adamko wrote in a statement. “Foul play is not suspected.”

Police said they are still asking neighbours and nearby residents to check their property for anything unusual, though the coroner’s office is now leading the investigation.
